Due to popular demand and the undeniable evidence of every actor who has participated in the 10 Day Tape Challenge as part of The Greenhouse program, I’m thrilled to offer this game changing tool as a stand alone course to get you pumped for the rest of your year! January’s went so well and I’ve had so many requests to reprise the Challenge, so this is your chance!
why does it work?
The intense nature of the challenge means you have less time to worry about doing it ‘right’, which opens up space for your instincts to take over. With your instincts in the drivers seat, you’re more likely to produce interesting, unique work that sets you apart. Having a structured way to actively work on your taping, plus the accountability of a daily upload means your excuses weaken and your motivation strengthens.
I promise you’ll be amazed at what 10 consistent taping days does for your practice.
What’s included in the challenge?
day one
The first script will drop, plus, you’ll receive my Three Point Self Tape Framework. The framework covers the crucial elements in creating a stand-out tape, while also allowing you to prepare using whatever acting methodology you subscribe to.
day two - five
Keep taping and uploading!
day six
You’ll receive personalised feedback on your work submitted so far. This will provide a clear focus for the rest of the course so you can get the most out of your tapes!
day seven - ten
A chance for you to action the feedback from Day Six in your remaining tapes. Once you’ve completed Day Ten, you’ll receive your final piece of feedback.

When you sign up, you’ll have access to the course portal. Every day beginning February 16th, a new script will be released at 6am within your portal. Just log in, download your script and get cracking!

No reader? No problem! Every day two scripts will be released: a monologue and a scene, so you can choose the option that best suits you. I’m also completely fine with your recording your voice for the other character - whatever works for you!

Tapes are due by 10am the next morning. In your course portal, you’ll see a Upload Tape Here button which will take you to the tape vault!

Nope! Peer assessment can be a wonderful thing, but that’s not this course. I’m the only one who will be able to see your tape.

Life happens. Don’t stress. However, even if you film it in your car while you’re in a car wash, I’ll take it. You may actually be surprised what happens if you leave your blue screen and ring light behind.

I’ll be sending a variety of scripts from different genres, both film and tv. I’ll also be crossing out character names so you don’t, A: try to replicate a performance, (either consciously or unconsciously) and B: feel the need to conform to the original gender, age etc… of the original production. The aim here is to make these scripts your own!
